Samsung Galaxy S5 Vs Galaxy S4: Head-To-Head Specs Comparison

Samsung has announced its Samsung Galaxy S5 in MWC (Mobile World Conference) 2014 but for once as a Samsung Fan did not get convinced. Even other companies like HTC and Nokia made fun of the S5. The S5 presentation was more about the Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Fit than the S5. A previous post highlighted the Comparison of all the Galaxy Devices but this post is specifically about the Samsung Galaxy S4 Vs S5.

Firstly, Sources have indicated that the 50% of the Samsung Galaxy S5 16Gb Base Model storage is used up by Samsung Bloatware that you can not remove.

Moving on the spec sheet below has been prepared by our friends over at RedmondPie and lets face it, they've done a pretty good job at comparing these devices.

Ok now let me shut up and let you decide the difference.

As you can see from the specs table above, and like how we pointed out before, the Galaxy S5 is really a modest upgrade over last year’s release, and also when you compare it with other Android smartphones that are currently lurking in the market. With the HTC One also due for an upgrade on March 25th, it’s best to wait and see what HTC has in store next month. Galaxy S5 won’t be available for purchase until April 11th anyway, hence, you – the buyer – has some time to decide which Android smartphone to get this year.
Our finally advice? If you already own a Galaxy S4 and want to upgrade, it’s better to wait for the successor of the HTC One to be announced.
